"Jack Schrumph Sportsmanship Award"

The members of SSOA annually select school soccer programs in Ocean and Monmouth Counties which exemplify outstanding sportsmanship as evidenced by: Behavior of players, coaches, bench personnel and spectators. Schools must not have received a red card on any level of participation during the season nominated.

Award recipients for the 2007 season are:

• Monmouth County Boys  -  Asbury Park

• Monmouth County Girls   -  Middletown South

• Ocean County Boys          - Lakewood

• Ocean County Girls           - Pt. Pleasant Boro

Award recipients for the 2006 season were:

• Monmouth County Boys  -  Long Branch

• Monmouth County Girls   -  Wall Twp

• Ocean County Boys          - Pinelands

• Ocean County Girls           - Pinelands
